Brent Charlie arrives at decommissioning yard in England

Shell's North Sea Brent Charlie Topsides Removal was carried out in 2024, following Brent Delta, Bravo, and Alpha Topsides removal in 2017, 2018 and 2020 respectively.

This is the heaviest offshore platform single-lift removal in history according to Allseas, the contractor engaged in the Brent decommissioning campaign. Brent Charlie topsides measured some 30,000T and was removed by Pioneering Spirit, in some 140m water depth.
